Sil Canyon is a gorge in Galcia along the Sil. it covers the last 50 km before the Sil enters the Minho. The scenery is considered to be the most spectacular in Galicia.
The Sil valley cuts into two sections, whose essential characteristics we have pointed out, to eastern Galicia. Fragmented between the mountain ranges of Encina de la Lustra, Montouto, Caurel and its derivations of Lóuzara and Augalevada and the abrupt flange of the country of Lemos on the right, and the spills of the Sierra del Axis and Medes and Sierra de la Moá and Meda head to the left.
